Garbage gone glam takes on miami

Fashion Design Expo Florida "Let the Runway Meet The Cause" for Alonzo Mourning's Overtown Youth Center was held on April 28-29th at the Newport Beachside Resort. The event, which originated in Florida celebrated their fifth year of production and served as a platform for up and coming designers to showcase their current collections. We decided to participate in Friday night's show which had a great turn out. We were honored to help with this charity event!

"The highlight of our night was the beautiful but "trashy" pieces by rising designer, Kristen Alyce, for the line  Garbage Gone Glam."  said Pretty Haute, "They wowed us with their intricate details and really made us think more seriously about recycling. This was our first year attending the expo and based on what we saw Friday night, we will definitely be returning next year."
